Wrinkle Relaxers

Treatment areas: 

  • Forehead

  • Glabella (area between eyebrows)

  • Crow’s feet (wrinkles on the outer side of the eyes)

  • Nose (bunny lines on nose)

  • Perioral (vertical lip wrinkles around mouth)

  • Platysma (neck bands)

  • Armpits for excess sweating (excess sweating)

Life happens to your face: sun damage, blue light, emotions, stress, poor diet…all of which catalyzes the aging process.  Neuromodulators (AKA Botox, Dysport & Jeuveau) are used for many factors, from anti-aging to facial slimming and even against medical conditions such as migraines and TMJ. 

  • Avoid blood thinners (Ibuprofen, Aleve, Advil, Aspirin, Fish Oils, Vitamin E, and Omega-3’s) for two weeks prior to your appointment. 

  • Avoid alcohol for at least 2 days prior to your appointment.

  • Inform your provider if you have recently been on antibiotics, steroids, been vaccinated, or if you are prone to developing cold sores

  • Note: Wrinkle relaxers are NOT recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Before your appointment

After your appointment

  • Avoid laying down flat for at least 4 hours

  • Avoid any type of exercise, alcoholic beverages, vigorous rubbing, massaging, facials, or chemical peels for at least 24 hours after injections.

  • Ice the area as needed to help with any bruising or swelling. 

  • Anticipate some swelling and bruising after your appointment. Note: Your cycle can make you more sensitive to injections.
