Sculptra
Sculptra is injected into areas of the face, such as the temples, cheeks, smile lines and jawline. Sculptra helps stimulate collagen in the areas of injections which will strengthen and tighten the skin. This is an amazing solution to address volume loss.
Most often, a series of three treatments is recommended. Results last anywhere from 2-3 years before maintaining!

Avoid blood thinners (Ibuprofen, Aleve, Advil, Aspirin, Fish Oils, Vitamin E, and Omega-3’s) for two weeks prior to your appointment.

Avoid alcohol for at least 2 days prior to your appointment.

Inform your provider if you have recently been on antibiotics, steroids, been vaccinated, or if you are prone to developing cold sores

Note: Sculptra is NOT recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Before your appointment
Follow the Rule of 5’s:

Massage for 5 minutes at a time, 5 times a day for 5 days

Avoid consuming alcohol or salts to avoid swelling

Use ice or cool compresses to minimize swelling

Use Tylenol for discomfort

Take arnica to help minimize bruising and swelling.
